Back from a hiatus, hopefully. I've been pretty busy both IRL (work! Finally!) and fandom-wise in these past months and the idea of Going Back To DA And Catching Up With The Backlog - Or Worse, With My Own Increasing Folder Of Deviations To Post (ew boring) was scary. It still is, but I'm thanking =Myst-fanclub's deadline for dragging me back to this place where I want to be and I've wanted it all along. I'm just a terrible procrastinator. Terribly terrible.

I've also taken up drawing again, with a hilarious twist. I stopped drawing five years ago as I discovered Myst, because I felt that my style was too anime for, well, drawing Rand Miller's and Rengin Altay's and Jeff Zandi's faces, bless them. I didn't want to mess it up and I didn't want to draw anything else either. Skip to late 2011, something something Ghost Trick. Finally! A Japanese fandom again! I can do this! ...and I somehow end up drawing its characters in the most European style I've ever managed, intentionally or otherwise. The influences are still there, but I think they're toned down enough for my idea of Myst fanart. Which means. Yeesha. You're next.

And if everything goes well, after a certain costume is done I wouldn't mind trying my hand ad sculpting again. Projects, projects...
